

This will leave your Hammerdin with 3k+ life after buffed by BO. So you can put enough point in Dexterity to hit max block and then put the rest into Vitality. The good thing about using a Mage Plate Enigma on Hammerdin is that you don't have to put any points in Strength at all.

This is why you don't want to overcap on Strength. And on a Hammerdin for example it has no impact at all. Strength is supposed to increase your damage but in reality it has very little impact. The truth is that stats in D2 are pretty poorly designed. So it will give you enough strength to equip the rest of your gear on all characters that don't use Spirit Monarch.

But the whole point of making Enigma in a low strength based is that it gives you ~70 strength on a high level character.
